Butterflies Pre-School

At Butterflies Pre-school and Priory Kids Club we offer fun and educational provision for children within the Hull area. We believe childhood is all about having fun, developing social skills and building upon experiences.

We at the pre-school recognise the need to set reasonable and appropriate limits to help manage the behaviour of the children in our care. To encourage positive behaviour, we believe in setting a good example. We set realistic limits according to age and stage of development, which in turn builds on children’s confidence and self-esteem.

We reward good behaviour and we are consistent in our approaches. Physical punishment is NEVER used in this setting. Our pre-school offers a wide range of entertaining activities, both indoors and out. From arts and crafts, songs and story time to physical games and exercise; our pupils gain knowledge in a variety of different ways.

• We welcome parents/carers to join in and help during sessions; please call us for more information if you would like to take part
• Pupil’s vegetarian diets and allergies are taken into account for activities and snacks
• We hold regular open days, events and trips
• Our open door policy means that parents can pop in and speak to a key worker about their child at any time
• At our pre-school, we like to work in partnership with the parents of pupils and with the local community.
• We always welcome suggestions and are happy to address any questions or queries you may have with your child’s day care.
